The Watson Counter-Balanced Plate Loaded Smith Machine has all the benefits of our regular Smith Machine but with a 2 kg bar.Itis built around Thomson Linear Bearings that are the smoothest, quietest and heaviest duty bearings available.

As well as the linear bearing system for the vertical movement, the bar rotates on 4 x 30 mm roller bearings making it very easy to lock off even when fully loaded. Counter-balanced weights reduce the weight of the bar from 25 kg to 2 kg making this the perfect machine for beginners, etc.

Built from 100 x 50 mm and 70 x 70 mm box section steel, the Watson Counter-Balanced Plate Loaded Smith Machine is designed and built to take years of heavy use and abuse and still feel silky smooth to use! Fully welded lock pins, instead of bolted, reduce maintenance and increase safety. Weight plate storage pins fitted as standard. Width dimension includes bar length.
